What are they? The British International School Awards have been launched to recognise excellence in British schools overseas, celebrate the success of the sector and help set benchmarks in best practice
Why? The sector is recognised as fast-growing and innovative, but individual schools have not previously been recognised for their endeavours in a variety of disciplines that clearly demonstrate effectiveness in school management
When? The presentations will take place on 22 January 2017
Where? Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London
How? The awards are free to enter. The deadline for entries is September 20
Who? The event is organised by BIS magazine with the support of ISC Research. The judging panel is made up of highly respected and experienced sector leaders
In addition, there is an award for the British International School of the Year 2018, which will be chosen by judges from one of the winners of eight categories.
Each shortlisted school receives a logo that they can use on their website and stationery that shows their shortlisting in a particular category. This alone is very useful for marketing to potential parents as a sign of quality.
They receive three complimentary tickets to the gala event held in London’s West End. The winners are considered for the prestigious British International School of the Year award.
